Review: I have been going to Painters for well over 25 years. It's a ritual for me every time I am in Myrtle Beachj or just passing through. Strawbery sundae on banana nut ice cream, with whipped cream. And they're good people, too.

Review: Best Ice Cream in South Carolina!!! My family always has Painters Ice Cream at least 3 - 4 times during our week stay at the beach. My only complain is that there are always teenage/college age girls working that seem more concerned about talking on their cell phones than taking orders. But, aside from that, I HIGHLY recommend checking this place out!! It's fantastic!!

Review: I was visiting last summer and was pleasantly surprised to discover they also had a sandwich menu. The hamburger tasted like an expensive gourmet burger. I was also pleased to see they cook to order so I didn't have to eat a burger that had been made in the morning and had sat under a heat lamp all day. The ice cream was delicious---very creamy--and the portion size was much larger than some of the other ice cream stores. They were accommodating in letting me sample their different varieties.(My personal favorite was the Key Lime). Another unusual and delicious flavor is "Birthday Cake". I've never seen this flavor anywhere else. I would definitely recommend this establishmet to anyone visiting the area! Best deal for the money. We'll be making this store a regular "must-do" every year when we go back.

Review: My wife, son and I stopped here after a long day on the beach. I had some bannana deal and I sampled my sons Chocolate and my wifes mint chocolate chip. All were amazing! As for service I assumed they would take credit/debit cards which after ordering found out they didn't. I was 2 dollars short so I had to ask they cancel my order. The owner said nonsense just come visit us next time you're in town. They are wonderful people with a superior product.

Review: Painters ice-cream is wonderful. Not overly sweet. I had the chocolate almond and it was wonderful. The waffle cone is really good too. They will put the kids ice-cream in a small bowl with the cone on top so there aren't any ice-cream mishaps. They have a wall of pictures from famous guests who have eaten there which is fun to look at. This is a Vanna White's favorite stop too!
